As the Brand Marketing Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Senior Vice President (SVP), Marketing in developing data-driven strategies and annual marketing plans for BFG Brands. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the flawless execution of these plans, ensuring the brand’s consistent growth and market presence. You will lead a team of marketing professionals, collaborating with cross-functional departments to achieve strategic objectives and enhance the brand’s performance.
Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the SVP, Marketing, the Franchise Advisory Committees, Marketing Committees, and the Brand Presidents to develop comprehensive and data-driven marketing strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives and brand vision.
- Annual Marketing Planning: Work with the marketing team to create detailed and actionable annual marketing plans, setting specific goals, KPIs, and budgets to drive brand growth and market share.
- Data Analysis: Utilize market research, consumer insights, and analytics to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to make informed strategic decisions.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture while providing guidance and support in their day-to-day tasks.
- Committee Leadership: Lead the Brand Marketing Committees made up of franchise owners in reviewing quarterly results, plans for future activity, and annual strategy sessions.
- Brand Identity Management: Ensure the consistent and effective implementation of the brand’s identity across all marketing channels and campaigns, maintaining brand integrity and recognition.
- Campaign Execution: Oversee the flawless execution of marketing campaigns, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with high-quality standards.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, identifying areas of improvement and optimizing strategies to achieve maximum results and return on investment (ROI).
- Budget Management: Responsible for managing the marketing budget efficiently, allocating resources strategically to support marketing initiatives effectively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as Franchise Sales, Business Coaching, and IT, to align marketing efforts with overall company objectives and maintain a cohesive brand experience.
- Innovation and Adaptation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices to drive innovation and adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
- Stakeholder Communication: Report regularly to the SVP, Marketing and other senior management on marketing activities, campaign performance, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Marketing Director or a similar leadership role in brand marketing and strategy development.
- Strong background in data analysis, utilizing market research, consumer insights, and analytics to drive decision-making.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving measurable results.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to various stakeholders.
- Proven experience in budget management and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Creative mindset with a passion for brand development and storytelling.
- Periodic travel will occur for annual conventions, annual committee strategy meetings, potential trade shows, meetings with the marketing team and other potential events.
- The position will be in office at the Ann Arbor BFG headquarters
