The Global Marketing Manager – DTC is responsible for raising the visibility of the Exyte DTC Business through marketing/communications, public affairs, media relations, and community efforts on a global level.
Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Works closely with DTC Senior Leadership to develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications plan to advance and broaden awareness of Exyte DTC identity in the industry.
- Manages ongoing global marketing and communications initiatives, including story identification and mining; develop pitch ideas for media outreach; information gathering for project stories; coordination of project milestone events; production of collateral and giveaways; content development, team interviews, abstract writing and production of local award and speaking opportunity submittals.
- Develops and manages GBU DTCs social media strategy. Provides analysis and recommendations on social media strategies that align with organizational initiatives and goals.
- Manages local media activities by developing partnerships with local media relations agency contacts, building relationships with editors and reporters from top-tier local publications, and assisting senior leaders to engage with the media for interviews and editorial opportunities; leverage editorial relationships to reinforce Exyte DTC brand through print and online media to reach a broader audience (i.e. third-party validation).
- Collaborates with appropriate leaders to develop and execute strategies to share local success stories externally and internally.
- Delivers highly creative and effective marketing assets, manages budgets, schedules, production, and implementation.
- Represents our interests by attending strategic business, industry and community events, and key meetings; make strategic recommendations for executive/BD participation in events, manage and track event participation, and measure effectiveness of event participation for future involvement.
- Obtains in-depth knowledge of Exyte DTC projects and builds strong relationships with project teams to identify compelling success stories and opportunities to reinforce Exyte’s “lean construction” brand.
- Develops and maintains database for recent and ongoing project including scope and support material (pictures, specifications, etc.).
- Develops strong relationships with leaders and influencers in the construction, architectural, engineering and developer communities to help identify appropriate contacts and opportunities to open doors for Business Development efforts, sponsorship opportunities, speaking opportunities, etc.
- Makes strategic recommendations for executive relationships, manage/track relationship development and measure effectiveness of participation.
- Collaborates and strategizes with Business Development to ensure visibility and branding strategies/tactics are aligned with regional business strategies and objectives; coordinate closely with pursuit teams to ensure alignment of key messaging, branding and strategies.
- Works closely with the corporate marketing department to ensure social media strategies align with branding and messaging objectives.
- Conducts research to align type and placement of online content with customer base.
- Identifies appropriate social media channels, designs social media campaigns, tracks performance, and implements necessary changes.
- Advocates for the company on blogs and in other social media spaces.
- Develops benchmarks for assessing social media campaign success, and regularly analyzes, reviews, and reports on strategies.
- Acts as primary contact with outside agencies.

- 10+ Years of experience
- Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing, Engineering or Construction Management required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Ability to develop relationships and engage with people at all levels across the business
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
