As the Global Product Marketing Director, you will lead a team of marketers to drive the marketing and launch strategy of the $2 billion portfolio designed for Smart Homes, Small and Medium Businesses, distributed IT, data centers, and Industrial IoT environments.
To grow the portfolio, you will work with cross-functional global teams from product management, regional category management, channel and sales teams, and strategic marketing teams.
What will you do?
- Develop product launch strategy and plan with league leaders, category leaders, global strategic marketing, and regional field marketing stakeholders to deliver compelling launches for hero, strategic and major offers globally.
- Drive the T&E launch window transformation project and lead the team on continuous improvement on internal communication & external communication, pivoting content and sales enablement strategy and processes based on team feedback.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team
- Guide the marketing team in developing value proposition & positioning of the portfolio and make sure these marketing bills of materials get integrated into product marketing content deliverables.
- Articulate sustainability in product marketing deliverables and position the portfolio with quantifiable, fact-based sustainability metrics
- Design E-commerce content strategy for transactional portfolio and guide e-commerce marketers on content execution, prioritization, process improvement and collaboration with broader Energy Management and Secure Power E-commerce teams.
- Lead the product information architects team to ensure accurate product information during the Schneider Electric and APC web journey.
- Collaborate with the Secure Power DCX team on re-imaging the best-in-class digital product selection journey, which includes and is not limited to product selectors, configurators, and Total Cost of Ownership sales enablement tools
- Own and secure T&E Marketing budget that aligns with key business priorities
- Partner with Global Marketing and external agencies on the branding strategy for new and existing portfolios to differentiate and position Schneider and the APC associated brand as the market leader
- Support T&E LoB SVPs on thought leadership in the format of blogs, social, speaking engagements at events
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications.
- Minimum 10-15 years B2B product, marketing, sales, and/or strategy experience
- Strength in leadership with experience leading marketing team and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience in launching new products from start to finish with proven success
- Strong knowledge of current market trends in IT and Data Center markets
- Proven track record of developing innovative and disruptive marketing transformation projects
- Strong written and verbal communication
