We are seeking a highly creative, analytical, and relentless Growth Hacker to identify, implement, and scale non-traditional marketing strategies, with a special emphasis on viral and guerrilla marketing techniques. Your mission is to rapidly accelerate customer acquisition in a short period by designing ingenious experiments, analyzing the data, and doubling down on what works. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who loves a challenge, moves fast, and wants to see their ideas create tangible, high-velocity growth.

  • Note that this role requires to be on-site at our Phoenix Corporate Office.

This role is really for non-conventional, creative marketers. For those who take risks and create buzz in unexpected ways, primarily on social media, but not exclusively. Stealth or buzz, indoor/outdoor, seasonal and newsworthy, experiential etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unconventional Growth Ideation: Continuously brainstorm, research, and prioritize innovative, often low-cost, growth hacking ideas tailored for the home services market (e.g., referral program optimization, viral loops, community-based marketing, strategic partnerships, creative offline stunts).
  • Viral Marketing Specialist: Design, launch, and optimize programs and features explicitly aimed at encouraging word-of-mouth referrals and organic customer sharing.
  • Guerrilla Marketing Execution: Develop and execute imaginative, attention-grabbing guerrilla marketing campaigns and local stunts designed to generate significant buzz, PR, social sharing, and leads within our target communities.
  • Rapid Experimentation & Testing: Design and run quick, iterative A/B tests and experiments across various channels (digital, offline, community, product) to validate growth hypotheses.
  • Data Analysis & Optimization: Define key metrics for experiments, meticulously track performance, analyze results to understand drivers of growth (and failure), and use data to make rapid decisions on iterating, scaling, or stopping initiatives.
  • Funnel Velocity: Analyze the customer acquisition and activation funnel to identify bottlenecks and implement creative solutions to increase conversion speed and volume.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to launch and manage growth initiatives smoothly.
  • Trend Spotting: Stay on the absolute cutting edge of growth hacking tactics, tools, viral trends, and behavioral psychology, bringing fresh ideas back to the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrable experience (please provide specific examples/case studies in your application!) executing successful growth hacking initiatives that resulted in significant and rapid customer acquisition or activation, particularly using viral or guerrilla tactics.
  • Experimentation Expertise: Deep understanding of A/B testing methodologies, experiment design, and statistical significance.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, draw actionable insights, and measure the ROI of unconventional campaigns. Proficiency with analytics tools is crucial.
  • Creativity & Problem Solving: Ability to think far outside the box and devise innovative solutions to growth challenges.
  • Channel Versatility: Experience testing and finding traction in non-traditional channels beyond standard SEM/Social Ads is highly desirable.
  • Industry Context (Preferred): Experience in B2C marketing, especially local services, subscription models, or startups known for creative growth tactics, is a plus.
  • Technical Aptitude (Preferred): Familiarity with marketing automation, landing page tools, basic web principles, or scraping tools can be advantageous.
  • Education: Formal degree is less critical than demonstrated ability to drive growth. Show us what you’ve achieved.
