As a dynamic Growth Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in expanding AoPS’s customer base, allowing us to make an impact on a greater number of students. In this fast-paced and vital role, you will be responsible for leading & managing performance driven campaign strategy, activation, analysis, optimization, measurement, tracking, and reporting – ranging across search, display, social and search engine optimization with an emphasis on paid search. Success in this role requires a strong bias for action, an ability to think both strategically and tactically, strong analytical skills, and hands-on tool proficiency.

 

The Growth Marketing Manager will:

  • Manages all paid campaigns from strategy to execution including but not limited to Google Search (SEM, shopping/pmax), Bing, FB/IG, etc. Is responsible for managing campaign budgets, and setting up, monitoring, optimizing, and scaling campaigns to hit CPA and ROI targets.
  • Continuously identifies new opportunities for SEO and campaign optimization including but not limited to geo-targeting, keyword discovery and expansion, audience testing, bidding strategies, landing page testing, A/B testing and ad copy testing.
  • Utilizes strong analytics skills to interpret data and identify opportunities.
  • Monitors and evaluates campaign performance, analyzes website traffic, conversion funnels, attribution and cohorts using Google Analytics and other advanced analytics tools (Optimizely).
  • Designs and implements marketing A/B tests and applies Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) techniques to enhance campaigns, landing pages, calls-to-action, and the overall conversion funnels across our website and digital platforms.
  • Creates reports for internal stakeholders and effectively presents learnings and campaign performance on regular cadence.
  • Works closely with the Director of Growth Marketing and business line leaders to understand the customer base and business goals of each of our products.
  • Works with the Creative team to develop compelling ad campaigns, content and other creative assets.
  • Maintains a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.

The ideal candidate has:

  • A minimum of 3 years of acquisition marketing experience.
  • Proven success scaling and efficiently managing campaigns across a portfolio of acquisition channels, with a focus on Google Ads and other paid channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and optimize marketing budget.
  • Strong analytical approach to acquisition funnel metrics measurement, campaign performance, and optimizations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in CRO techniques and A/B testing.
  • Strong understanding of KPIs and digital marketing metrics including CPA, CPC, CPM, CPI, ROAS, and CAC.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics.
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to build complex spreadsheets, graphs, and pivot tables.
  • Proficiency in SQL and more advanced data analysis tools is preferred.
