As Head of Brand Marketing you will own our strategy on how to build a category defying brand that drives awareness and retention for our audience. Reporting directly to the head of Brand, Marketing and Communications, you will partner closely with the entire marketing organization to establish and maintain brand commitments, drive strategy and briefs that create stories and engagement for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing impactful brand strategies, driving brand awareness, and creating meaningful connections with customers.

  • Building on our core strategy, you will create and deliver a national brand that inspires our customers.
  • Lead our brand planning initiatives, market research, competitive analysis, and brand positioning.
  • Oversee the development of compelling marketing collateral, including advertising campaigns, digital content and more, to effectively communicate our brand message.
  • Be the guide for the rest of the marketing org to shepherd concepts through partner teams such as creative, growth, social, community, PR.
  • Develop a measurement framework that works alongside our commercial and growth teams that drives continuous improvement.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively in partnership with larger marketing organization.
  • Understand trends, consumer behavior, emerging tech, and automotive industry specific news cycles and trends to identify new opportunities for the brand.
  • Champion brand standards, brand strategy and story across our organization.

What you bring to the team:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Proven experience as a Head of Brand Marketing or in a similar leadership role, with a track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and campaigns
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with a deep understanding of brand narrative and messaging.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovative marketing approaches and brand building.
  • Experience in digital marketing, social media, content creation, and campaign management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of brand tracking metrics, market research methodologies, and competitive analysis.
  • Must love cars! You’ll be thinking about cars all day every day, and it’s the most fun when you love cars.

Location

  • Remote is acceptable, but we prefer NY Metro (able to commute to NYC if needed) or Troy, MI.

Base salary – US wide $118,850.97 to $251,648.73
