Position: Head of Marketing
Location: US-Based
Overview:
As the Head of Marketing, you’ll be a pivotal member of NSI’s leadership team, leading a transformative initiative to redefine our brand narrative and revolutionize our marketing approach. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape the strategic direction of our brand, drive demand generation, and foster engagement within the horticultural community.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to build a go-to-market strategic alignment with key organizational stakeholders.
- Develop and execute innovative digital and traditional marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Spearhead brand positioning and narrative, ensuring a seamless customer experience in collaboration with sales and operations leaders.
- Create and implement data-driven marketing plans, emphasizing measurement and continuous optimization.
- Manage marketing budgets with precision, focusing on forecasting, KPIs, ROI, and customer acquisition cost analysis.
- Oversee brand, web, and digital agencies, ensuring project management excellence and measurable goal-setting.
- Travel as needed for tradeshows, plant visits, customer visits, etc.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of strategic B2B marketing experience, preferably in-house, with a strong analytics skillset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated success in B2B brand activation and demand generation, including trade shows and online.
- B2B customer sales portal or e-commerce experience is a plus.
- Experience working with distributors in an agricultural or industrial setting is advantageous.
- Passion for sustainability is a plus, along with experience building Go-To-Market strategies for new technologies and products.
- Proficiency in marketing automation, digital media, analytics, CMS, and CRM platforms; HubSpot and NetSuite expertise is a plus.
- Team leadership experience.
