The Social Media Intern will support the City of Lancaster’s digital presence by creating, capturing, and sharing content that highlights events, local businesses, and community
experiences.
- Create and schedule social media content
- Capture photo and video content at events and locations
- Support promotion of City-led events
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages
- Research trends and suggest content ideas
- Maintain content calendar
- Interest in marketing, communications, or related field
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience with social media platforms
- Basic photography/video skills
- Organized and creative
- Experience with Canva or editing tools
- Familiarity with Lancaster community/events
