The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for strategizing, designing and executing marketing campaigns and owns the digital strategy for the Workforce Identity Management business unit, part of the Identity and Access Management Solutions (IAMS) Business Area (BA). Offerings include identity authentication for workforce, visitor management, and physical identity and access management.
Diplomacy, professionalism, excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams and strong people leadership are necessary skills. As the role covers a large portfolio, broad experience in marketing campaign types would prove useful. These include volume-based performance marketing, highly targeted account-based marketing and a passion for storytelling – both with written and numerical data interpretation.

As our Manager, Marketing Communications, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Strategizing, creating and developing Workforce Identity Management solutions marketing campaigns in close coordination with Product Marketing Manager and BU leadership. The successful candidate can clearly demonstrate how marketing supports the business in reaching measurable, strategic outcomes
- Developing, monitor and optimize demand creation programs, ensuring quality lead generation and revenue opportunities
- Collaborating with BU and area marketing sales and global resources in the development of campaign assets including video, webinars, press releases, social media content, podcasts, collateral, blogs, customer case studies, infographics, etc.
- Developing product positioning, value proposition and differentiation messaging in collaboration with Product Marketing Management for cohesive and effective campaigns
- Working with digital engagement resources to ensure that inbound buyers’ journey is engaging and performing to targets – this includes implementing recommended best practices for webpage refreshes and optimization as well as blog, email, landing page, paid media, audience segmentation and content ideation

- Proficient in SEO/SEM foundations and best practices
- History of budget management and demonstrated ability to work within fixed budgetary guidelines
- Proven record of supporting sales to meet or exceed pipeline and revenue targets
- Proven ability to work independently and prioritize his/her time in alignment with BU priorities
Your Experience and Education include:
- BA/BS degree in marketing, communications or related area. Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant work experience may also be considered
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in B2B digital marketing / demand generation / integrated marketing
- Minimum 2 years’ experience marketing a SaaS product
- 1+ year experience managing a small marketing team of 1-5 direct reports
- Physical security and/or cybersecurity experience is a plus
- Experience in working with and managing external vendor/partner relationships
- Experience working with an agile framework such as OKR’s, sprints or scaled agile is a plus
