Vertex Pharmaceuticals
Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc. is looking to hire a product manager to join the US CF Marketing team in Boston, MA. This position will be supporting our CF Portfolio ALYFTREK, TRIKAFTA, KALYDECO, SYMDEKO, and ORKAMBI. The US CF Portfolio product manager will manage key customer engagements, oversee development or updates to promotional tactics, and assist in the management of special projects supporting the CF portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for our Patient and HCP panels inclusive of contracting, scheduling interviews, monitoring usage, and budget
- Maintaining a validated list of KOLs and/or speakers for future engagements
- Commercial conference lead, representing commercial CF priorities at strategic alignment, leading conference promotional efforts and supporting field teams with local conferences, consortium, etc.
- Develop or update marketing materials aligned with CF Portfolio strategy and business objectives which could include Vertex Treatment Finder, portfolio brand materials, etc.
- Lead social media listening activities and insights generation to inform application across the CF portfolio.
- Project management of special projects across the CF portfolio which may include market events, individual brand initiatives, etc. (e.g. label updates)
- Collaborate with Vertex Communications Review Committee (CRC) to approve materials for external use with customers.
- Develop strong partnerships with marketing teams, GPS, Field sales and other cross functional partners to support business goals.
- Manages agency partners to ensure timely deliverables within budget.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or scientific degree
- Typically requires 4+ years of pharmaceutical commercial, business, or the combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong project management skills and tactical execution experience
- Ability to professionally communicate, both verbal and written, with the team and others.
- Basic understanding of promotional approval process and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical marketing.
- Strong team player with an ability to collaborate cross functionally and help partners accomplish shared objectives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and prioritize workload.
- Understanding insights and how to apply to tactical execution.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, including PPT, Excel and Word
