Manager, SEO & Content Strategy

Kastle is looking for a senior B2B content and SEO leader who understands that great messaging moves deals forward — not just traffic. This role owns Kastle’s organic search strategy, content narrative, and lifecycle messaging from first touch through late-stage nurture and sales enablement. You will work closely with conversion, demand generation, and sales partners to ensure Kastle shows up when buyers are ready — and keeps them engaged through every stage of a complex buying journey.

This is a player-coach role. You will set strategy and also directly manage the Digital Content Copywriter, overseeing day-to-day content production, quality, and editorial direction.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Own SEO Strategy

  • Develop and execute Kastle’s SEO roadmap across SEO, on-page optimization, and content-driven growth
  • Partner with Brand/PR and Product Marketing to build keyword strategy aligned to category messaging (e.g., Managed Access, Physical Security, Managed Services, Security Operations)
  • Improve site architecture, internal linking, and conversion paths to increase organic pipeline contribution
  • Conduct competitive SEO analysis and identify “share of search” opportunities
  • Manage content briefs and SEO optimization workflows with content creators, writers and agencies

Manage Paid Acquisition & Performance Media

  • Own paid media strategy across key channels (primarily LinkedIn and Google Search, retargeting, and industry placements, but need to expand into new channels as well)
  • Build and optimize campaigns for:
  • National CRE account acquisition
  • City expansion initiatives (NYC, Chicago, SF, LA, Houston)
  • Key product/offer campaigns (Managed Services, SOC services, unified credentialing)
  • Existing customer upsell
  • Optimize targeting, creative, landing pages, and conversion flows to drive qualified meetings and pipeline
  • Maintain rigorous testing cadence (creative, audience, offers, landing pages, bid strategy)

Pipeline & Conversion Optimization

  • Own the performance funnel from first click → conversion → meeting booked (in partnership with SDR/Sales)
  • Improve website conversion rates through landing page optimization, messaging tests, and CTA strategy
  • Drive experimentation roadmap with clear hypotheses and measurable outcomes

Measurement, Reporting & Attribution

  • Partner with Marketing Ops to ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and reporting
  • Deliver regular reporting on:
  • Traffic and engagement
  • CPL / CPQL / CAC signals
  • MQL → SQL conversion rates
  • Pipeline influenced and sourced
  • Provide insights to leadership on what’s working, what’s not, and where to reallocate spend

Collaborate Cross-Functionally

  • Work closely with:
  • Sr. Director/VP of Growth Marketing (strategy, targets, prioritization) : this will be your manager
  • Product Marketing (positioning, persona alignment, competitive insights)
  • Brand/PR/Events (creative direction, messaging consistency)

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven B2B and B2C SEO experience with a strong orientation toward SEO-optimized content that drives pipeline, not just traffic
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills — able to craft executive narratives, technical content, and sales enablement assets with equal fluency
  • Experience supporting sales teams and creating content used directly in complex, long-cycle B2B deals
  • Strong analytical and experimentation skills; comfort iterating based on performance data and search metrics
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior content team members; ability to set editorial direction and hold a high bar for quality
  • Comfort working within long sales cycles and translating complex product and service value into clear, compelling buyer messaging
