This role is responsible for coordinating and implementing the promotion of health insurance products and services, including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Large and Small Group, Dental, Wellness, and Individual Plans. The position follows an annual strategy focused on member retention, sales growth, and engagement.
You will partner with internal business owners to plan and execute marketing campaigns within approved budgets and oversee all marketing efforts (including digital) that drive product and service promotion. This role ensures campaigns are delivered successfully, marketing tools comply with branding/legal standards, and outcomes align with company goals.
You will collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters, and web teams to develop presentations, email campaigns, brochures, and member communications that are clear, compliant, and effective.
This role will specifically support marketing and communications for the Agent Experience team and represent all lines of business (government and commercial).
Key Responsibilities

Marketing Plan & Communication Strategy

Develop and implement annual marketing and communication plans aligned with organizational goals.

Research & Insights

Partner with the Research Team and other sources to gather member feedback and insights.

Incorporate findings into marketing and communication strategies.

May draft focus group scripts or online surveys.

Marketing Resource Oversight

Collaborate with Creative Services, Strategic Communications, Public & Community Relations, and eBusiness teams.

Oversee development and launch of prioritized marketing initiatives.

Project Management
-
Use project tracking software to create project plans, allocate resources, and manage timelines and budgets.

Provide regular status updates to leadership and business owners.

Budget Management
-
Work with Account Managers and business owners to manage annual budgets.

Reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.

Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, marketing, public relations, or business (from an accredited institution).

4 years of experience in marketing, account management, advertising, healthcare communications/promotion, or public relations.

2 years of project management experience (small-scale projects).

Strong writing and verbal communication skills.

Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, desktop publishing tools, and presentation software.

Proven project management, relationship building, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in digital marketing.

Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in health insurance or healthcare communications/marketing.

Background in managing marketing, communications, or PR projects.

Sales experience.

Understanding of publication production and design.
