Overview

 

This is a Remote position, must be located in PA, NJ, MD, DE, or VA.

 

The primary responsibility of this position is to drive and inform marketing and business strategy through advanced data analytics. The incumbent will be responsible for the planning, execution, and analysis of department-wide marketing campaigns or customer communication programs and will make recommendations for marketing initiatives that support business objectives, will directly impact success metrics and will optimize future performance and ROI.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences and needs to identify potential markets and factors affecting product and service demand, or audience selection for traditional and digital marketing campaigns, always-on programming, and triggers for customer acquisition, retention and cross-sell.
  • Produce actionable insights from advanced data mining, segmentation, quantitative analyses, customer profiling or demographics and diagnostic and predictive analytics.
  • Develop, distribute and present clear and understandable analyses, insights and results for the marketing team, business line partners, management and senior leadership, while identifying opportunities to maximize return on marketing investments.
  • Analyze resulting metrics of marketing campaigns to provide insight on the effectiveness of digital and traditional campaign efforts, or to determine campaign influence on customer behaviors.
  • Collaborate with team members and business partners to develop and implement marketing campaigns utilizing data analytics to determine target audiences (including any required data cleansing) and methods to drive channel efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities

  • May track, analyze, interpret and forecast trends in customer behavior and the competitive environment to support business goals and objectives, as well as process marketing campaign incentives for qualified customers within designated time frames.
  • May analyze website traffic, influence personalization, and/or assist with customer communications across multiple channels.
  • May deploy customer satisfaction research and surveys, collect input/feedback and maintain databases.
  • May be responsible for developing and updating models and generating regular program performance reports and recommendations.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: economics, mathematics, statistics, quantitative analysis, or a related field. (Required)

Experience

  • 3 or more years analyzing data, deriving business value from data, and experience with programming languages SAS, Python, and SQL. (Required)
  • 2 or more years marketing analytics. (Required)
  • 1 or more years experience creating dashboards using Power BI or similar tools, excellent Excel skills. (Required)
  • 1 or more years banking or financial services. (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal skills and be able to collaboratively work with others (Required)
  • Proficiency with SAS, SQL, Python, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office (Required)
