Position Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Associate to join our team! This position assists the Marketing Manager in developing and executing small to mid-size marketing programs. This individual works with cross-functional team members to identify objectives, key phases and product categories, plus performance metrics for each program. They then lead working teams in delivering key information and plans to support the programs. They understand key business priorities and processes to integrate across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the management of marketing programs as directed to develop objectives, strategies and tactics to achieve long-term growth and profit objectives.
  • Break programs/campaigns into manageable work components to create a work plan with tasks, milestones, dependencies, deliverables and required resources
  • Develops brand sales tools to increase product awareness & trial, and help communicate operator solutions simply and effectively.
  • Collaborates with cross functional resources and agencies in order to execute small to mid-size marketing programs in areas that may include but are not limited to product development, branding, packaging design, advertising and effective customer/consumer promotions and special events.
  • Assess and escalate risks to program/campaign deliverables and sustainment in a timely manner to Marketing Managers, Director, Sponsor, etc.
  • Continuously monitor trends and marketplace shifts across brands, products, and competitors
  • Provides day to day budget management for the team. This would include: coding invoices, creating reports to monitor spending against plan, gathering estimates, etc. Track invoices and reconcile with team budget, corporate finance, & accounting.
  • Leverages both quantitative and qualitative information such as consumer research, competitive intelligence, syndicated & secondary data and sales input to customize our efforts to sustain our competitive advantage, build strong customer relations and develop annual brand/product plans. Perform ad hoc analysis of business performance and guided by manager.
  • Measure program/campaign performance and effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Education: Current enrollment in bachelor’s degree Marketing, Business, Management, Sales, or related program with an anticipated graduation date of December 2023 or May 2024.
  • Years of Related Experience: 0-2 years related experience
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Project Management, financial acumen/analysis, Understanding of the marketing function, marketing tools and methods. Ability to communicate orally and in writing as well as work the ability to work across the organization to utilize leverage and establish synergies. PC skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook products. Knowledge of company and group products, policies and processes along with analytical and communication skills required; Ability to think critically and synthesize and integrate information from multiple sources
