Description

The Marketing Associate will provide support to the sales and marketing team to drive growth in a largely B2B environment. The role involves team collaboration on projects, administrative sales support, web content creation and social media management.

  • Develop and utilize marketing standards to support the sales team as needed with document completion, with key retailer ad review to monitor promotional activity and with product presentations for tier 2 & 3 customers for branded programs.
  • Supports the e-commerce effort on Amazon and assists the sales group in product content creation for our retailer e-commerce sites.
  • Coordinates trade show logistics for PLMA, Expo West and other key selling shows.
  • Plans and coordinates National Sales Meetings.
  • Maintains our 5 corporate branded websites and creates fresh quarterly content.
  • Drives bi-weekly social media posts for 3 branded websites.
  • Supports Sustainability Committee in data input, analytics and development of data gathering processes for ongoing, long-term reporting.
  • Offers additional Nielsen analytical support to sales and marketing group.
  • Up to 10% overnight travel to support internal and external stakeholders
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Education And Formal Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or equivalent, required
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field
  • IRI, Nielsen, SPINs experience preferred
  • Experience in web content creation and social media preferred
  • Familiarity with Word Press and Google Analytics preferred

Knowledge, Skills, And Ability

  • Intermediate proficiency MS Office experience (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PPT)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
