Objectives of this Role
As the Marketing & Community Lead, you will work closely with the CEO and team to craft and amplify Robyn’s story. You’ll be responsible for owning our social media presence, engaging with and growing our community, and driving both user acquisition and brand growth. With a focus on bringing Robyn to millions (and eventually billions) of people worldwide, you’ll play a pivotal role in scaling our reach and impact.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Brand Building: Develop and execute strategies to elevate Robyn’s brand, creating a compelling narrative that resonates with Gen Z and Millennials.
- Social Media Ownership: Manage Robyn’s presence across platforms, with a focus on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and others where our target audience thrives.
- Community Engagement: Build and nurture a vibrant, engaged community around Robyn, fostering loyalty and advocacy.
- Growth Campaigns: Design and execute viral campaigns that drive user acquisition and brand awareness.
- Collaboration: Partner with the CEO and team to align marketing strategies with broader company goals.
- Scrappy Execution: Operate with a bias toward action, demonstrating resourcefulness and independence in driving results.
Experience & Qualifications
- Marketing Leadership: Proven track record in a senior marketing role, ideally in a fast-growing startup or consumer brand.
- Cultural Insight: Deep understanding of Gen Z and Millennial culture, with the ability to create content and campaigns that resonate authentically.
- Social Media Expertise: Proficient in leveraging platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter to drive engagement and growth.
- Community Building: Experience in growing and engaging an online community around a consumer product or brand.
- Growth Marketing: Demonstrated success in building viral campaigns and scaling user acquisition.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup environment with a strong bias toward execution and results.
- 0→1 Experience: A track record of building and executing marketing strategies from scratch in an early-stage setting.
Compensation & Benefits
- $100K – $120K annual salary depending on experience
