MARQUIS Marketing Consultants are strategic partners to our clients and serve as subject matter experts and trusted advisors in the areas of financial services marketing. They form a partnership with our clients and draw on their full range of experience and success. They develop specific and proven recommendations that help our clients achieve and exceed their business objectives and meet regulatory standards.

 

Duties Include:

  • Create, maintain and “own” strong client relationships. This includes demonstrating reliability and responsiveness to client needs.
  • Establish an understanding of customer strategic business objectives and provide guidance and recommendations to meet and exceed their business objectives.
  • Forecast the client’s needs and translate that into plans including timing and coordination of work across the team, along with insights into the revenue opportunity.
  • Define project scope, including responsibilities of both parties and deliverables and create a plan across the team for meeting those objectives.
  • Utilize a full understanding of MARQUIS consulting, software, and creative services to review in-depth analyses of client’s needs and uncover opportunities to grow the client’s business. Provide customized reports and data based on the client’s needs.
  • Grasp and create new ideas, techniques and insights quickly and translate those into actionable plans for the client.
  • Manage client expectations and the project timeline to insure satisfactory on-time delivery of projects.
  • Prepare and deliver formal presentations of findings and results to clients; including senior management.
  • Create and price actionable marketing plans. Review and approve client billing for accuracy.

Position Requirements

  • MCIF software experience a plus.
  • Marketing experience required, significant experience a plus.
  • Proven record of strong strategic thinking and planning skills, along with excellent follow-up skills and the ability to develop comprehensive offerings to meet the client’s needs.
  • Solid understanding of financial products and financial statements, including balance sheets
  • Strong analytical (including data analytics) and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams with demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to concurrently manage multiple projects with varying due dates and requirements.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent professional image and presence including conduct, attitude and attire.
  • Demonstrated creativity, initiative, time management and self-management skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision or with team members, some positions may be remote.
  • Expert level MS Office skills.
  • Ability to work in client’s environment with 25% travel required (with more travel initially).
  • 4-year college degree with 7-10 years work-related experience required, MBA preferred.
