Job Details:

Prism Electric’s Marketing Department seeks an experienced Marketing Coordinator located in Garland, TX; this individual will help support the other branches in Austin, Houston, Fort Worth and Oklahoma working in close coordination with the Director of Marketing. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Developing proposal submittal and interview presentation content; editing content developed by technical/lead staff.
  • Developing and ensuring compliance with proposal/interview management documents, including proposal development schedules, outlines and assignments.
  • Developing and updating proposal and interview document templates; ensuring template formats are accurately and consistently applied.
  • Creating figures/graphics to support proposal submittal and interview presentation content.
  • Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral for internal and external clients. Examples include proposal graphics (e.g., graphs, maps, charts) and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Assisting with writing, editing, and tailoring employee, project and qualification collateral and associated write-ups.
  • Ensuring quality control process is followed for all proposal submittals.
  • Entering/uploading client follow-up correspondence in our CRM System.
  • Tracking and updating opportunities in the CRM System, including pursuit-related updates/action items.
  • Conducting Prequalification renewals for the company
  • Conducting resume employee and project record updates.
  • Assisting with planning/coordinating client events
  • Assisting marketing director in market research efforts.
  • Assisting with award submittal applications.
  • Tracking awards and other recognitions.
  • Supporting pursuit and other marketing efforts in other branches.

Requirements:

  • Excellent writing, editing skills and proofreading skills
  • Independent/self-starter
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Adherence to quality control procedures, instructional checklists and the Prism brand standards guide
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), InDesign
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Adobe Rush and/or Adobe Premier not required but a plus
  • Willingness to learn new Adobe software and improve existing software skills

The ideal candidate will need to be able to have excellent writing and editing skills; independent and proficient time management skills; strong track-record of adhering to quality control procedures and instructional checklists; proficiency in Adobe InDesign document.
