We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team and deliver a positive, supportive impact for MCI USA’s clients. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Director of Marketing and works collaboratively with the full marketing team and with assigned clients. The Marketing Coordinator engages in various aspects of marketing, including project management, campaign strategy, website management, content creation, social media, public relations, email marketing, and marketing performance analysis.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the marketing department’s initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, or content marketing.
- A strong background in and knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Wix, etc. and limited HTML coding is preferred.
- Coordinate email marketing campaigns, including copy writing, building, testing, and database management.
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels.
- Act as the key liaison with other internal departments such as sales, creative, and quality assurance.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and bring those ideas to regular marketing meetings for implementation.
- Understand the dynamics of our client organizations and clearly communicate their needs and goals to the membership, news agencies, and general public.
- Manage client social media pages (create graphics, establish, and maintain calendars, posting content, moderating discussions, etc.)
- Participate in client meetings and prepare presentations.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
- All other duties as assigned
RELATIONSHIPS
The Marketing Coordinator will be a part of the Creative Services team where they will work with Marketing Directors and Marketing Managers on the team to serve clients across the Association space. They will frequently work with the client’s team, including the Executive Director, membership staff, financial staff, and event staff, to manage the marketing needs of the client, always striving to meet strategic goals and metrics.

- Experience in email marketing, digital content creation, and graphic design are a plus.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Creative Writing, or Business Communications is preferred.
- 1-3 years relevant marketing experience
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for success.
- Familiarity with marketing automation (Pardot, Hubspot, Sprout Social), Google Analytics, Salesforce.com is a plus!

Technical Skills

- Social Media Management Tools: Knowledge of tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social for scheduling posts, analyzing engagement metrics, and managing multiple social media accounts.
- Analytics and Data Tools: Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or other analytics software to track and analyze website traffic, user behavior, and campaign performance.
- Graphic Design Tools: Basic understanding or proficiency in graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva for creating marketing collateral and visuals.
