Mile Marker, the preeminent end to end independent media agency is in need of a Marketing Director to act as a tactical executor, strategic overseer and project manager, guiding the omni-channel media agency’s marketing efforts.

The role requires coordination of all marketing functions, ensuring cohesive execution across platforms, organizing cross-functional teams including executive stakeholders and driving measurable marketing goals. This role is critical to achieving our business objectives and elevating the agency’s market presence and as such will report to the CEO.

Job Responsibilities:

● Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the agency’s business and growth goals.

● Identify key market opportunities to enhance the agency’s visibility and competitive position including online and offline channels as well as speaking engagements.

● Establish KPIs for marketing initiatives and ensure consistent tracking and reporting of results.

● Oversee the evolution of milemarkeragency.com website strategy. Ensure that it effectively represents our brand, services, and value propositions today and as we look to scale the business. This includes working with in-house fractional designer to update content, optimize user experience, and maintain best search practices as well as technical maintenance with support as needed

● Regularly review website analytics and make recommendations to identify areas for improvement and track performance.

● Maintain a dynamic content marketing calendar to drive engagement and thought leadership across the agency via blog posts, case studies, white papers, and social media content.

● Organize key internal stakeholders who wish to participate to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.

● Act as the main conduit between Mile Marker and the agency’s external PR lead; develop and execute communication strategies to secure media coverage for agency initiatives, new business wins, and thought leadership pieces.

● Oversee press release creation and distribution.

● Work with subject matter experts to develop and author ongoing case studies.

● Help to project manage the continued evolution of all marketing materials, including presentations, case studies, brochures, and digital assets.

● Work with the agency’s designer to ensure visual consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.

● Regularly update assets to reflect the agency’s latest offerings and successes.

● Evaluate the role of newsletters, updates or other forms of communication to inform staff and the marketplace about new business wins, incremental client campaigns or product launches, and marketing successes.

● Organize internal meetings or workshops as needed to share marketing plans and gather feedback.

● Build and maintain a client-focused communication plan to enhance engagement and satisfaction working with pod leaders and executive sponsors

● Working with the Head of Growth and PR lead, develop a strategy for identifying and pursuing relevant awards to highlight the agency’s achievements

● Coordinate submissions for awards, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met (with help from Director of Agency Operations)

● Help coordinate the agency’s participation in trade shows, including booth design, materials, and on-site engagement strategy.

Qualifications:

● 3-4 years marketing experience, preferably at an agency

● Strong strategic thinking and project management skills.

● Excellent proactive communication and interpersonal skills.

● Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems.

● Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines.

● Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple key projects simultaneously

● Entrepreneurial mindset that translates into working with more than one stakeholder at a time

● Ability to operate in undefined areas (“gray areas”) with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks

● Ability to work autonomously yet seek counsel when necessary
