THE MUST HAVES: 10+ years of experience building omnichannel brands through performance marketing, e-commerce, DTC, retail, and affiliate channels. A passion for golf. A passion for health and wellness. High-level marketing/brand experience with a technical physical product (not SaaS or service).

THE WHERE: This is a remote role and team…they are currently spread across the US, but you’ll get to work with an amazing team of driven leaders, ambitious people, athletes, endorsers, and health-minded people. You’ll be working with online partners, distributors, retailers, e-commerce systems, and golf customers around the world.

 

THE WHO: Our client is quickly becoming one of the top golf tools in the game. The company was created by PGA Tour doctors and trainers to provide golfers with the same workout and recovery programs as the best players in the world. Today, it is used by over 400 PGA and LPGA pros, and an ever-growing consumer user base that is tapping into these systems and programs to gain strength, flexibility, and mobility.

 

Not only is it backed by the PGA and endorsed by some of golf’s biggest players, but they’ve also been featured in places like Sports Illustrated, Golf.com, Golf Figest, Netflix’s Full Swing, and more. This has helped them land new investments in the company allowing them to grow their team, goals, and market.

THE HOW: The Director of Marketing (this is a new role in the company) will be tasked to lead this next generation of growth…including building and leading the marketing team, driving the marketing initiatives across DTC, e-commerce, product, distribution and retail channels, content, ad campaigns (display, affiliate, social, TV, podcast, etc.), growth-marketing, and more.

The product is a science-based, at-home training system designed to maximize golfers’ performance by improving flexibility, core strength, balance, and rotational power. The system offers customized exercise and recovery program for each golfer, based on a proprietary strength and flexibility test. The Director of Marketing will build, deliver, grow, and evolve the marketing strategy, initiatives, and channels across the entire organization. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing leader with a successful track record of building brands, educating users, growth across DTC, e-commerce, and retail, executing with internal and external partners (including cross-team functions, outside marketing function partners, media buyers, etc.) and has shown success across a variety of marketing disciplines to growth-hack the audience, users, partnerships, and revenue models.

THE DAY TO DAY

  • Lead the development and execution of growth marketing strategies across all channels, including e-commerce, retail, and strategic partnerships.
  • Set efficiency targets, refine attribution methodology, conduct testing and iterate to optimize ROI across sales channels.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance the DTC customer experience and improve the ROI of growth investments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external agencies and media partners, fostering long-term relationships and optimizing investment.
  • Manage an internal team and external agencies to execute marketing strategies effectively across various channels.
  • Oversee day-to-day advertising operations, continuously evaluating and optimizing marketing spend and channel allocation.
  • Lead the development, testing, and optimization of all digital marketing activities, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Evaluate existing marketing channels and explore new channels to drive customer acquisition, overseeing SEO efforts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Operations, and Leadership
  • Report on channel strategy performance against KPIs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years spearheading performance marketing and e-commerce growth for omnichannel brands, with a strong emphasis on high-growth DTC strategies
  • Extensive experience in budget management, forecasting, and achieving CPA, LTV, and ROI targets.
  • Deep understanding of omni-channel businesses and customer journeys across both brick-and-mortar and DTC channels.
  • Proficient in managing diverse channels for direct response, including Display, Affiliate, Facebook, Search, TV/Streaming, Radio, Podcast, Direct Mail, and Inserts.
  • Proficiency in various digital advertising platforms such as Google, Meta, and others.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and implications for digital marketing efforts.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-tactical paid media plans and budgets for an omni-channel DTC company.
  • Proficiency in web analytics and visualization tools.
  • Experience scaling profitable startups
  • Passionate about health and fitness and/or experience in the golf industry

SALARY & BENEFITS
