Your Role: As the Marketing Director of Hefty & Private Label Waste Bags, you will be responsible for leading strategic planning, brand building strategies, and product line extensions for the waste bags business. This role involves leading teams, conducting marketing analytics for media mix optimization, commercializing innovative and sustainable new products, and coaching and developing teammates. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning for the Hefty Waste brand marketing team.
  • Develop business cases for product commercialization opportunities, including pricing, competition, and P&L management.
  • Develop brand equity, positioning, and messaging in collaboration with consumer insights, agency strategists, and the creative team.
  • Lead the development of media mix strategy, including consumer targeting and optimal media tactics such as TV, radio, social, digital, PR, partnerships, & more.
  • Optimize media ROI across all initiatives and campaigns.
  • Build strong working relationships with RD&E counterparts to facilitate product initiatives.
  • Engage and inspire marketing staff and cross-functional counterparts to deliver efficient commercialization of branded and private label products.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in marketing.
  • Prior team management experience with a proven track record of developing, coaching, and mentoring marketing teams, as well as cross-functional teams and external agencies/vendors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically.
  • Ability to travel 5-10% of the time.
