OpenLoop is looking for a Director of Marketing to join our team at our HQ in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will lead marketing efforts with a hands-on approach, focusing on demand generation, ABM campaigns, customer segmentation, ICP mapping, pipeline reporting, and optimizing the customer journey. This role requires a strategic and tactical leader who can align marketing initiatives with business goals, driving growth and revenue while managing the overall marketing budget. Experience in healthcare or a related industry is a strong bonus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead demand generation strategies, implementing Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns to target high-value accounts and drive pipeline growth.
- Define and refine the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and optimize the customer journey from acquisition to retention, collaborating across teams for a seamless experience.
- Develop effective lead routing processes and implement lead scoring/nurturing programs to increase conversion rates, ensuring qualified leads flow to sales.
- Oversee brand positioning and awareness initiatives, ensuring a consistent message across all channels, including PR and communications.
- Lead go-to-market strategies for product launches, aligning with sales and product teams to communicate clear value propositions and competitive advantages.
- Drive SEO strategy and oversee web analytics to optimize traffic, engagement, and lead generation. Use data to refine strategies and improve website performance.
- Plan and execute marketing presence at conferences,industry events, and webinars to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
- Manage the marketing tech stack, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to measure performance and ROI. Oversee the overall marketing budget, optimizing spend across channels.
- Collaborate with sales to provide tools, content, and training that improve sales effectiveness, supporting revenue and pipeline goals.
- Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- 8+ Years of proven hands-on experience in a senior marketing role within a SaaS company
- Expertise in ICP, customer journey mapping, lead funnel management, SEO, and web analytics.
- Strong background in brand development, product marketing, and event marketing.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and optimizing spend.
- Healthcare industry experience or knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce).
- Data-driven, with a focus on KPIs and performance metrics.
- Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
