Intuit’s Consumer Group Digital Activation Team (DAT) is a part of the Go-to-Market Operations and Technology team within the marketing organization and is responsible for the systems and practices of data enablement and the strategic use of that data across marketing and analytics. This includes digital audiences/personalization across marketing channels, client and server-side data integrations, and web analytics technology for the Consumer Group brands, primarily TurboTax.

The Digital Activation Team is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to work across the organization to drive marketing audience enablement and manage the marketing technology that delivers digital audiences and customer journey orchestration. This role drives critical programs of our data enablement and audience/personalization strategy. The ideal candidate will be able to work with multiple stakeholders across strategy, advertising, legal, engineering, product management, marketing technology/web, analytics and our agency partners to drive consistent end-to-end experiences for our customers and prospects.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3-5 years professional experience in marketing and managing marketing technologies
  • Demonstrated high levels of ownership, responsibility, and initiative
  • Experience with marketing and analytics technologies, including having deep technology knowledge of martech and experience owning the operations of the technology
  • Experience with multiple digital marketing channels (i.e. Paid Search, Display, Email, Affiliates, Social and Mobile platforms, as well as Web Properties)
  • Strong use of segmentation and targeting to drive awesome customer experiences
  • Proven ability in A/B testing and conversion optimization
  • Required skills include: strong communicator, influencer across teams and various levels and ability to communicate technology to non-technical stakeholders, detail oriented with the ability to see the big picture, team player, excellent teaching and training skills.
  • Preferred experience with Customer Data Platforms (ie: Twilio Engage, Adobe Experience Manager or similar) and marketing technologies such as LiveRamp, Braze, AAM, or similar.

How You Will Lead

Develop and maintain marketing audiences across marketing channels:


  • Partner with marketing strategy teams to develop audience requirements for marketing campaigns across channels including CRM, OA, Customer Success and more.
  • Own audience execution across multiple technologies including Customer Data Platform, Data Management Platform, and partner platforms such as Google, Meta, Braze, etc.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders including Analytics, Customer Success, Legal, Privacy and others to ensure audience requirements and execution meet business and compliance needs across all stakeholders.
  • Champion marketing audiences across channels to ensure x-channel teams are aware of available audiences and encourage adoption of marketing audiences as new audiences are available.
  • Lead Customer Journey Orchestration (CJO) execution across all channels.

Be a subject matter expert of available marketing data in the CDP:

  • Partner with marketing channels to plan for new data needs and ensure data onboarding teams prioritize marketing data needed for marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain the data dictionary with marketing use cases, data descriptions and other relevant information required by marketing to understand available data for campaign planning.
  • Understand the data onboarding processes including all technologies and collaborate across DAT to onboard data as needed and backup the data enablement team.
  • Partner with Data Quality teams to ensure critical data for marketing use cases are tracked and issues are reported. Backup team with data monitoring as needed.

Project manage and track execution of marketing audiences for owned channels:

  • Track audience creation and clearly communicate available audiences, planned audiences and risks to execution timelines.
  • Effectively identify risks, communicate, escalate and drive them to closure.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define business strategies that leverage existing capabilities and identify gaps for product roadmap consideration.
  • Contribute to 1 and 3-year planning for audience and CJO capabilities.

Partner with X-Intuit teams on critical capabilities leveraged by CG DAT Operations

  • Partner with GTM Tech PMs on Global Preference Center capabilities, targeted offer capabilities, CDP & CJO capabilities and Audience creation and delivery technologies (ieL LiveRamp).
  • Manage purchase orders, invoicing and accruals of our marketing technology partners.
