Mortenson is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead our group’s marketing efforts. This role focuses on ensuring effective branding and communication for our project sites. You’ll oversee project site branding, signage, and communications, fostering collaboration between general contractors, trade partners, and our customers. You will also manage the site webpage and keep project status information current.
Responsibilities
Project Marketing Support

Project Site Branding and Signage Coordination: Oversee branding strategies for project sites, ensuring signage aligns with customer and company standards.

Communications and Storytelling: Create engaging communications for stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and milestones.

Collaboration: Act as a liaison between general contractors and internal teams to ensure seamless communication on project-related activities.

Website Management: Regularly update the project site’s webpage with accurate and relevant information, including messaging about site closures and events.

Project Status Updates: Maintain up-to-date project status records, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
Business Operations Marketing Support

Supervision: Manage multiple proposals, balance workloads, and resolve content issues.

Proposal Management: Oversee content management, facilitate meetings, and ensure high-quality standards.

Strategy and Marketing Activities: Develop proposal strategies, oversee marketing efforts, and identify new business opportunities.

Leadership: Build relationships, lead by example, and provide coaching and feedback.

Communications and Storytelling: Continue to craft clear and engaging communications for stakeholders.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 7 years in proposal development or marketing management.

Proven marketing experience, preferably within the construction or related industry.

Portfolio of writing and design examples.

Strong writing, communication, and verbal skills.

Ability to translate technical information into client-focused solutions.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Experience with Wix or similar website platforms.

Open to feedback, with strong listening skills.

Ability to travel up to 30%.

Salary
-
Base pay range: $79,600 – $119,400.
-
Higher ranges for specific locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%.

Base pay is determined by knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
