Here’s how a(n) Marketing Manager 2 for our office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

  • Experience developing and managing brand best practices and able to build, execute, and manage the district brand strategy and participate in national and sector brand planning.
  • Experience initiating and managing district-level marketing strategic plan development and implementation with alignment to district and company strategic-planning processes.
  • Results-oriented with an ability to manage competing deadlines and thrives under pressure. Experience managing, resourcing and prioritizing team deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret and utilize data analytics to create, change, and manage marketing plans and strategies.
  • Able to act as a change agent by applying change management methodologies.
  • Exceptional knowledge of and ability to manage strategic implementation of all marketing mediums, including web, print, advertising, video, and social media.
  • Advanced skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud and other specialized software as required.
  • Understands the company and district’s business objectives and incorporates them into marketing department strategy and plans.
  • Exceptional team player with ability to build, develop, mentor and inspire a marketing team.
  • Creates strategic marketing plans and ensures they are measurable. Evaluates effectiveness and identifies and manages risks and opportunities of projects. Leads implementation, evaluation and measurement of district marketing initiatives.
  • Creates brand strategy and positive perception of PCL in the marketplace through strategic storytelling.
  • Leads market and marketing research. Investigates new markets and assesses viable opportunities for PCL.
  • Provides superior editing and proofreading services. Reviews content for sensitivities.
  • Coaches and leads a team of collaborative marketing professionals who develop and execute the district marketing strategy.
  • Uses vision and expertise to create impactful and influential written copy that integrates the PCL brand for external and internal audiences.
  • Uses superior understanding of external markets and demographics to develop and maintain strong customer focus.
  • Develops and leads district marketing and website content management strategy, and researches and recommends emerging and innovative marketing solutions to meet district needs.
  • Develops and manages a social media strategy to support district objectives.
  • Manages creative services to ensure marketing objectives are achieved in line with branding principles, business needs, and the district’s strategy.
  • Evaluates, selects, and manages external vendors and partners and related budgets when required.
  • Translates complex executive strategies and industry knowledge into meaningful and accessible information. Promotes understanding and influence within the district.
  • Advanced networking skills and strategically connects with relevant external stakeholders. Has leadership role in outside organizations.
  • Develops executive-level reporting and recommendations on current marketing standings and future projections
  • Builds and supports a culture that values the solution provider and profitability philosophy.

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in marketing, including a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Experience developing and managing brand best practices and able to build, execute, and manage the district brand strategy and participate in national and sector brand planning.
  • Experience initiating and managing district-level marketing strategic plan development and implementation with alignment to district and company strategic-planning processes.
  • Ability to interpret and utilize data analytics to create, change, and manage marketing plans and strategies.

The salary range for this position is between $92,000 and $116,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
