The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development of marketing initiatives for VMS clients. This role will create and execute integrated marketing communications & tactics to engage and drive awareness with prospective and current clients. You will be responsible to successfully manage and design multi-channel campaigns and equip the business development team with compelling marketing collateral that help generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities.

 

Essential Functions

 

Corporate Marketing:

  • Development & management of social media initiatives including content creation, campaign management and execution
  • General content management and execution
  • Strategic planning; organization, centralization, and sharing
  • Creation of content short and long form
  • Management of content calendar
  • Distribution
  • Website management & execution
  • Content creation and execution
  • SEO management and execution
  • Publications Planning & Tactical execution for Paid & Non-Paid

Marketing Campaigns, Events & Sales Enablement

  • Management & execution marketing campaigns and brand initiatives
  • Planning and execution of conferences & tradeshows to support business development and driving greater awareness of VMS
  • Track, measure, and optimize key marketing initiatives including developing and reporting on monthly dashboards to the leadership team
  • Execute on annual marketing plans
  • Partnering with Business Development to support sales enablement -presentation templates, collateral, and proactive compelling content creation
  • Partnering with Client Solutions team to support client retention efforts inclusive of developing compelling content, holiday campaigns etc.
  • Market research competitive intelligence to support more effective prospective & current client conversations and pitches for the client solutions and business development teams

Content Strategy & Execution

  • Translate market positioning and value prop into highly compelling customer facing collateral
  • Content creation and execution which includes thought leadership, educational content, whitepapers, patient services reports, case studies, and more
  • Ensure that the content aligns with customer needs and supports our positioning as an innovative and trusted industry leader
  • Able to create brand/patient/educator stories using multi-media content for a range of channels – case studies, blogs, thought leadership, press and PR through written, video, audio and visual tools

Required Education And/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Professional Writing or relevant field
  • 5-7 years of direct experience in marketing or communications within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry

Required Skills

  • Experience working in biopharma solution providers and/or with patient facing digital health solutions preferred
  • Highly developed training, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Expert ability to manage projects from concept to completion
  • Robust content development & business writing experience
  • High adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to make informed decisions
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive business growth as well as setting marketing KPIs
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including legal/regulatory requirements, drug development lifecycle, and market trends
  • Proven experience in content strategy and supporting business development through key marketing initiatives
