This position is employed by Airbnb Inc., however the role will provide direct support to Airbnb.org, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit that focuses on emergency response and provides temporary housing for people in times of crisis. Airbnb.org is governed by an independent Board of Directors and its mission is to unlock the power of sharing space, resources, and support in times of need. From Australia to France, hosts have opened up their homes and helped provide accommodations to over 200,000 people. The Difference You Will Make

The Marketing Manager will play a critical role in helping to build the marketing strategy and execute all marketing efforts across Airbnb.org. You will be responsible for supporting and implementing marketing programs to help drive increased awareness, growth and loyalty and retention among our existing donors. You will also work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as PR/communications, growth marketing, host community, design, product, public policy, legal and to bring marketing campaigns to life.

Additionally, you are detail-oriented, an expert communicator, creative and have a passion for story-telling and design.

A Typical Day

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns that drive brand awareness, acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Manage the entire marketing funnel from awareness through retention.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer insights, and competitor analysis, and use this information to inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Creative, Design, Product and Engineering, to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing initiatives and major campaigns.
  • Manage and optimize digital marketing channels, including website, email, social and content marketing.
  • Build and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches and updates.
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance and provide reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and insights.
  • Collaborate with the partnerships team to develop partner enablement materials.
  • Experience developing marketing operational processes where little exists, and demonstrated flexibility to get things done.

Your Expertise

  • 5+ years Marketing Management, Product Marketing, Performance Marketing or other relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing and brand management.
  • Social impact marketing and fundraising experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in using marketing analytics tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Thrives in ambiguity in a fast-paced, hyper-growth organization.
  • Ability to creatively problem solve across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about organizational excellence and attention to detail.

This position is US – Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
