Job Summary: The Marketing Manager will play a key role in strengthening the company’s marketing presence by planning annual promotional/creative calendars, creating engaging social media content for multiple locations, maintaining company websites, executing strategic print and digital campaigns, and managing customer interactions. This position will also support broader digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns and event coordination, while ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives. The manager will utilize analytics to optimize performance, enhance brand awareness, and maintain consistent messaging across all platforms, contributing to the company’s growth and visibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage supporting staff including local marketing specialist and contracted agency teams
- Assist subsidiary companies as needed with special projects and day-to-day operations
- Create annual marketing and creative development calendars to support department operations
- Align the company’s social media efforts with overall marketing goals and objectives.
- Oversee social media platforms by creating engaging content, interacting with followers, and addressing customer inquiries. Plan, develop, and execute effective social media campaigns.
- Moderate comments and reviews, respond to audience inquiries, and optimize posts to maximize engagement.
- Strengthen the company’s online presence to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
- Maintain multiple company websites to reflect updated messaging, schedules, pricing, special offers, etc.
- Manage customer service requests, including retail inquiries, donation applications, and VIP ticketing needs.
- Assist in planning and implementing marketing strategies, including designing and executing compelling email campaigns and print materials
- Utilize analytics tools to monitor and report on social media and website performance.
- Assist in coordinating company events and conferences.
- Revise and enhance sales materials and presentations.
- Stay current on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies.
- Identify and implement innovative ideas and improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Periodically travel to company locations and conferences
- Conduct outreach on potential sponsorship and advertising sales opportunities

Education, Skill & Work Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and social media administration.
- Background in marketing for tourism or event-based organizations.
- Experience creating and maintaining websites with WordPress or similar platforms.
- Experience in reputation management on platforms like Google and TripAdvisor, including monitoring reviews, replying to customers, and maintaining a positive brand image.
- Skilled with Adobe Creative Cloud graphic design, video editing and web development programs; Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Illustrator (preferred).
- Serve as a brand advocate and effectively represent the brand’s voice.
- Exceptional storytelling and content creation skills.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance and recommend improvements.
- Proficiency with social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and X.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines while following guidance.
- Outstanding communication, copywriting, and proofreading abilities.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven problem-solving skills and experience collaborating in a team environment.
- Must demonstrate professionalism and strong communication skills, with the ability to speak clearly and tactfully.

- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
Work Environment:
- Majority of time spent in an office and warehouse setting
