We’re searching for a Marketing Manager to develop, execute, and measure a range of strategic initiatives supporting our eShipping Sales & Marketing Lead Generation strategy. The ideal candidate has very strong project management skillsets and is familiar with the marketing funnel and sales pipeline. You will oversee the management of all trade show and association event operations, industry association strategy, special events, marketing campaigns, and sales support initiatives, all tied directly to our vertical marketing approach.

 

We are looking for someone who tightly manages project details, is organized, is a creative thinker, and does not shy away from wearing multiple hats on any given day. This role works closely with executive leadership and is a key point of contact across departments. Following initial training, this role is approved for a hybrid schedule of two days per week in office and three days worked from home.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Brand Management

  • Protect and maintain high brand standards and consistency across all internal and external touch points
  • Play an active role in cultivating the eShipping brand voice, value proposition, and key messaging
  • Manage special branding projects and new company acquisition branding, as needed

Marketing/Trade Show Operations

  • Act as lead coordinator on all industry sales events, trade shows, and special events
  • Proactively schedule and communicate with trade show event staff, ensuring registrations are executed early and all event details are confirmed well in advance of each show
  • Maintain event schedule for all trade shows and events, working with sales and marketing departments to ensure event timelines are scheduled and on track with no conflicts
  • Maintain trade show and event checklists and work with sales and marketing departments to meet deadlines from pre-production to post-production
  • Manage tradeshow booth and tabletop booth design and presentation with vendor
  • Coordinate shipping trade show crate(s) to and from trade show events, and the maintenance and storage of all trade show fixtures and equipment in between events
  • Schedule and manage special events on or off-site at trade shows where eShipping is an exhibitor, coordinating all hospitality-related tasks (booking food and beverage, permits, staffing, etc.)
  • Communicate effectively with the sales team leading up to each event, ensuring all schedules and details are conveyed and working with sales team leads to identify sponsorship, engagement, and special event opportunities
  • Manage budget and expenses for all trade show operations
  • Track and report on performance, attendance, and ROI for each trade show event

Vertical Marketing

  • Support new marketing strategies for current and expanding vertical markets
  • Own and drive industry association membership strategy and preferred partner program
  • Maintain association event schedule, working with sales and marketing departments to ensure event timelines are scheduled and on track with no conflicts
  • Manage account-based marketing campaigns in support of the eShipping vertical marketing strategy and drive revenue-generating activity and lead generation
  • Manage email marketing campaigns to nurture vertical targets, communicate to current customers, and drive inbound leads for transportation management and warehousing
  • Provide sales support in various areas, as needed

Marketing Management

  • Manage intranet platform vendor and assist with content development
  • Manage promotions vendor and company store
  • Provide marketing support across departments, as needed
  • Perform annual vendor contract negotiation and renewals
  • Assist in managing and optimizing budget and expenses for all marketing initiatives
  • Track and report on performance KPIs and ROI

Minimum Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience required
