NorthRiver Yacht Club, a Troon Privé facility, is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Marketing Manager. This beautiful private club is looking for a dynamic person who can be creative and professional in all member communications and in marketing efforts towards new member prospects and potential catering and event clients.
Position Overview:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing all NorthRiver Yacht Club social media accounts, internal marketing to club members and external marketing for our events department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes marketing tactics and strategy that enhances the awareness of the NorthRiver brand and communicates the story and ongoing execution of the Sales & Marketing Plan.
- Drives the content development and facilitates production of all membership related materials, including but not limited to prospecting, onboarding and retention efforts.
- Manages NorthRiver social media platforms and ensures delivery of consistent, high quality and engaging content, reflective of the club brand.
- Develops an internal club communication plan which outlines all club communications from emails to newsletters.
- Designs and executes a monthly Club newsletter, which features content from each department.
- Engaged with the NorthRiver website platform in the following capacities:
- Updates calendars, events, menus, hours of operation, event albums etc.
- Coordinates, edits and sends email communications on behalf of club departments.
Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office (Publisher, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Creative with an eye for design.
- Strong organizational skills: time management, attention to detail, ability to self-start.
- Able to multi-task and produce high-quality results with strict deadlines.
- Team player: ability to work cooperatively with all departments and committees.
- Proficient on social media platforms.
- Familiarity with a Club system software and knowledge of Canva and/or other design software.
- Four-year degree with a marketing or communications concentration preferred.
