POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Representative/Community Outreach is responsible for improving and promoting the agency’s market position, achieving financial growth and building key customer relationships. The Marketing Representative is responsible for developing a sales plan, identifying geographic locations for sales and targeting prospective customers.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Marketing Representative/Community Outreach is responsible for visiting prospective referral sources and marketing the agency’s services. The Marketing Representative/Community Outreach will ensure all documentation is filled out appropriately and sent to the Intake department in a timely manner thus ensuring a successful enrollment.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the promoting and marketing the agency by conducting visits as needed to support sales efforts.
  • Provides market feedback to the company’s leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generates product development ideas.
  • Establishes, grows and retains strong customer relationships.
  • Plans and coordinates the implementation of distributing marketing literature and penetrates new markets.
  • Ensures all referrals are being processed and followed up, while ascertaining that customer service and referral sources are satisfied.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successful pitching for new business.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups or customers or employees of the agency.
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads/referrals.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, patients, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
