Description
This role reports directly to the marketing team and supports cross-functional initiatives to bring the LUX UNFILTERED brand to life across all channels. This role will manage social accounts, lead content creation, and support influencer and affiliate programs to drive awareness and growth. The ideal candidate is organized, social media-savvy, and passionate about beauty. This position plays a key role in growing brand awareness, deepening engagement, and scaling influencer and affiliate partnerships that drive visibility and revenue, and can be tailored to the experience level of the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
- Lead content calendar, posting, and engagement across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms.
- Own TikTok growth strategy and execution.
- Draft captions, maintain consistent brand voice.
- Track analytics and compile weekly/monthly performance reports.
Content Creation & Support
- Ideate and produce short-form video, tutorials, before and after transformations, behind-the-scenes content, and UGC.
- Partner with creative/marketing teams for campaign shoots and launches.
- Create content for website, email, and other brand channels as needed.
Affiliate & Influencer Partnerships
- Manage and grow the affiliate program in partnership with the marketing team.
- Identify, recruit, and nurture influencer and affiliate partners aligned with brand ethos.
- Track and organize performance of partnerships, paid campaigns, and affiliate metrics.
- Assist in contract negotiations and ensure timely tracking/reporting of ROI from partnerships.
Gifting & Community Building
- Lead product gifting and seeding strategy.
- Develop creative seeding campaigns designed to generate organic buzz.
- Coordinate logistics for influencer/creator gifting and track outcomes.
- Maintain relationships with key brand advocates.
- Assist in all new product launch marketing activities and special events.
- Stay on top of beauty trends, competitor activity, and viral content to always have a pulse of what is winning in the social landscape.
Desired Experience
- 2+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or marketing—preferably in the beauty, lifestyle, or wellness industry.
- A strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms.
- Passion for content creation.
- Creative thinking and a strong visual eye for aesthetic content.
- Excellent creative thinking & communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Passion for beauty, social trends, and consumer engagement.
- Experience with basic design/editing tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite).
- Affiliate program experience (ShopMy, LTK, Amazon Creator Connections, etc.).
- Ability to work in-office 4 days a week.
