The marketing specialist is responsible for supporting a wide range of marketing and communication tasks, including designing and writing digital and print materials, managing social media strategy and implementation, and assisting with events and other company needs.
Performance Responsibilities And Standards
- Write and edit customer-facing marketing materials, in-house correspondence, articles for publication, and press releases.
- Develop and manage content for social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Requires maintaining messaging and responses consistent with the Nascentia Health brand. Help grow followers and expand reach. Track and report out on trends and indicators.
- Use graphic design and writing skills to create advertisements, brochures, newsletters, event materials, and other items.
- Create content for internal email communications and office digital displays.
- Develop and coordinate internal and external presentations.
- Contribute content for company websites.
- Support and represent the company at various events through planning, coordination, and in-person attendance.
- Manage company-branded giveaway items, including research, inventory, ordering, and artwork.
- Use skills to support other departments where applicable.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience, or an associate’s degree with equivalent combination of education and experience, or six years of experience.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge and experience using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media best practices
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro preferred
- Strong working experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with ability to meet stringent deadlines and adjust quickly
- High level of interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong presentation and speaking skills.
- Ability to interface with internal and external audiences with varying levels of experience.
- Self-starter who is highly organized and motivated; ability to multi-task.
- Ability to travel within New York state as needed (must have valid NYS driver’s license).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk 90% of the day.
- Speaking/visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend and express written/verbal communication.

- Extended periods of computer use
- Ability to express self verbally and in writing.
- Ability to verbally communicate over a telephone.
