SimpliSafe is looking for an incredibly bright and self-motivated individual to help manage our National TV, Streaming TV, and Direct Mail campaigns. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to directly impact the top line of a high-growth consumer tech business and make a positive impact on people’s lives.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, buying, optimizing and reporting across our National TV, National Streaming and Direct Mail & Shared Mail campaigns. You will be given responsibility over a large media spend right out of the gate and have autonomy to make strategic decisions that directly impact the business. You’ll help us learn by working with the media buying team and analytics team to test new inventory and partners and help us find new opportunities for growth. This opportunity is unique in that you will be given immediate responsibility that will allow you to make an impact on the business from day one and will provide you with significant growth opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for driving performance within TV, Streaming, and Direct Mail; across campaigns such as National cable TV, National Broadcast TV, and streaming partners such as Hulu, Disney+, Amazon, etc.
  • Own day to day media plan management and reporting, including budgets, rate adjustments, and audience targeting strategies
  • Analyze and report on industry competitive trends
  • Report on weekly pacing (pre-logs, post-logs, media clearance), conversions, and overall media channel performance
  • Collaborate with vendors and conduct industry research in order to develop a strong POV on industry trends, upcoming opportunities, and channel best practices
  • Establish close, ongoing relationships with media vendors
  • Negotiate placements and pricing with media vendors on a daily basis
  • Work closely with internal creative team to test new creative on a regular basis
  • Support TV/Streaming channel lead in developing a holistic channel strategy to drive customer acquisition

  • Completion of an undergraduate bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of media buying and/or planning experience across traditional media channels (TV, Streaming, Direct Mail, Audio) is desired
