Come join our team as a Marketing Specialist, where, under the Marketing Officer, you will assist in the management of the Credit Union’s website, executing effective marketing strategies, and designing and assisting with campaign development. Play an integral role in building brand awareness and expanding the Credit Union’s impact by supporting community outreach efforts through social media, video, and other channels.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Assists in maintaining and updating the organization’s internal and external website for accuracy, consistency, design updates, content, disclosures, brand consistency, rates, and ADA compliance.
  • Designs marketing content for advertisements, presentations, signage, emails, and other marketing collateral accurately reflecting Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union’s brand and adhering to compliance standards.
  • Builds and manages the Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union brand and brand integrity internally and externally. Maps out marketing campaigns utilizing all marketing channels.
  • Monitors and responds to online and social media comments to build a positive online presence and encourage engagement with the Credit Union..
  • Contributes to the Credit Union’s social media profiles and presence across all platforms. Develops written, graphic, and video content to be used in cross-channel digital marketing campaigns. Stays current on all social media developments and best practices to ensure company interests are protected, maintained, and advanced.
  • Assists with the development and execution of various marketing promotions, including coordination of third-party vendors in developing concepts, copy, and graphic design. Assists with management of vendor relationships to keep projects on time and within budget.
  • Supports Credit Union outreach efforts through community involvement. Manages, organizes, and/or assists with the implementation of special events. Organizes, attends, and/or contributes to day, evening, and weekend events where the Credit Union is represented is required.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

One to three years of related work experience is required. Experience within the financial industry or knowledge of banking and/or Credit Union specific products and services is preferred. An understanding of marketing, advertising, and promotions is required.

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field requires an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Expertise in graphic design, mainly using Adobe Creative Suite, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and WordPress, or similar content management systems required. Some knowledge of videotaping and content editing is a plus. Strong understanding of internet applications and savvy skills necessary to monitor/utilize social media and SEO technology.
