The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the successful implementation of customer lifecycle marketing campaigns and content contribution with the assistance of the Senior Marketing Manager. This role will assist in implementing successful product launches, content strategies, email marketing campaigns, acquisition and retention campaigns that drive registration, and earned revenue to support both the social sector and mission of Candid. The goal is to deliver multi-channel marketing initiatives that articulate product value and meet brand and revenue objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans, both long term and short term, to help achieve customer registration, acquisition, and retention for Candid’s products.
  • Manage with assistance from Senior Marketing Manager, all logistical components for promotions, including: cross-product promotions by coordinating with all internal and external stakeholders, managing the project calendar, reporting on campaigns, and conference support.
  • Create and manage, with assistance from Senior Marketing Manager, digital marketing campaigns to help drive registrations, revenue, and platform usage.
  • Report campaign performance by preparing reports from multiple tracking and analytics sources.
  • Plan, write, develop, and distribute email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Liaise and collaborate with stakeholders and find trends in our data to plan and coordinate marketing activities to drive and increase usage across platforms.
  • Utilize platforms like Tableau and Account Engagement (Pardot) to implement campaigns that drive repeat users and increase retention across our platforms.
  • Deliver analysis and insights to help optimize the Growth Marketing team initiatives.
  • Write and assist blog content to support growth of products and brand through SEO.
  • Perform other duties and special projects to promote Candid’s products, as needed/required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of marketing experience.
  • Creative, flexible, energetic, highly organized, responsive, resourceful, optimistic, personable, and a quick study.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently alongside other initiative-takers in a goal-driven, fast-paced environment, and with remote team members across time zones.
  • Ability to monitor and report on campaigns. Recommend strategic adjustments based on campaign performance.
  • Exceptional copywriting and copy-editing skills to create and edit impactful marketing materials that are on brand.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Salesforce CRM, and other marketing platforms. Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of the social sector preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be detail-oriented; must be uncomfortable with breaking deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret, be analytical, and act on data findings.
  • College degree focused on communications or marketing preferred; equivalent marketing experience will also be considered.
  • Continuous learner who stays up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing.
  • Willingness to perform other duties and special projects as needed/requested.

Compensation

$42,000 – $65,000
(this range is for the NYC area and will be adjusted for other localities; additionally, factors like skills and experience will be considered).
