Role Overview: Marketing Specialist

 

As a Marketing Specialist, you will support the Marketing Team’s objectives of increasing Point B brand awareness, driving customer engagement across multiple channels, and generating sales leads. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to strategy and innovation while focusing on execution.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Write concise and compelling content with a consistent “on-brand” voice for growth marketing and brand storytelling campaigns.
  • Support the Senior Content Strategist in brand content creation for awards, public relations, and company news.
  • Manage organic social media presence, ensuring quality content, balanced promotion of thought leadership, visual and written brand consistency, and routine performance analysis.
  • Support the execution of executive communications strategy on social channels.
  • Assist in developing and executing an editorial calendar for careers, recruiting, and other people team content.
  • Promote lead flow through campaigns across organic channels.
  • Encourage firmwide application of social media content and best practices.
  • Create resources and lead training on personal brand building and social media guidelines.
  • Monitor employee sentiment on platforms such as Glassdoor and Fishbowl, escalating and reporting as necessary.
  • Write and test social media posts with calls-to-action and create compelling imagery.
  • Edit content created by others for spelling, grammar, and tone.
  • Conduct competitive marketing activity research, including social media metrics.
  • Build authentic relationships within work groups and teams.
  • Consistently demonstrate and live Point B values.
  • Participate in firm culture activities to connect with other Point B’ers.

Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. degree
  • 2-5 years marketing experience; business-to-business preferred
  • Experience with contact management and social media tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Positive attitude and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong customer-service ethic and ability to serve multiple internal customers

Compensation and Benefits

  • Estimated salary range: $59,500 – $95,000 USD per year (varies by geography, skills, education, experience, and unique qualifications)
