The Marketing Department of one of the fastest-growing accounting firms in the country is seeking a Marketing Specialist who is motivated to learn, excited to collaborate and passionate about delivering outstanding results. This individual will have a direct impact on our firm’s mission of serving as a catalyst for those striving to achieve their highest potential.
Anders is seeking a dynamic and proactive individual with experience in identifying events aligned with our brand and product targets, setting up speaking engagements, and managing outsourced podcast production. This role is part of the Brand & Corporate Marketing Team and is crucial in enhancing Anders’ visibility, thought leadership, and lead generation through strategic event participation, podcast production, and public speaking opportunities.
What You’ll Do
- Event Strategy and Management
- Research and identify relevant trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences that align with Anders’ expertise and target markets
- Collaborate with Market Growth professionals and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to select and prepare for high-impact events
- Develop and execute pre-event, on-site, and post-event marketing strategies to maximize lead generation and relationship-building opportunities
- Manage event logistics, including booth design, promotional materials, and staff coordination
- Podcast Production
- Oversee the end-to-end production of Anders’ podcast series
- Identify trending topics and secure guest speakers that showcase Anders’ expertise
- Collaborate with Content team to repurpose podcast content for other marketing channels
- Monitor podcast metrics and implement strategies to grow listenership and engagement
- Public Speaking Opportunities
- Identify and secure speaking engagements for Anders’ SMEs at industry events, webinars, and digital platforms
- Assist in developing compelling presentations and supporting materials
- Coach and prepare speakers to deliver high-impact presentations
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of speaking engagements in terms of lead generation and brand awareness
- Influencer and Relationship Management
- Identify key industry influencers and thought leaders across various platforms
- Develop and implement strategies to engage with influencers and build mutually beneficial relationships
- Collaborate with the Social Media team to amplify Anders’ presence through influencer partnerships
- Lead Generation and Nurturing
- Work closely with Market Growth professionals to develop targeted lead generation tactics for each event and public appearance
- Implement strategies to book appointments and consultations with potential clients before, during, and after events
- Collaborate with the Marketing Automation team to create and optimize post-event nurture campaigns
- Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Track and analyze the ROI of events, podcasts, and public appearances
- Provide regular reports on key metrics, including lead generation, engagement rates, and conversion rates
- Use data-driven insights to continuously improve strategies and tactics
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record of successful event planning and execution
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and lead generation strategies
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with podcast production techniques and tools
- Experience in public speaking or coaching presenters is a plus
- Proficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in managing events, content production, or public relations, preferably in professional services.
The stated pay scale reflects the range that Anders reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and firm business practices.
Salary Range: $62,000—$82,000 USD
