The Marketing Specialist at Vistar will play a key role in managing and executing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and support business growth. This position involves coordinating marketing initiatives, creating engaging content, managing digital platforms, and analyzing campaign performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams and partners.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Content Management and Creation
- Content Management:
- Maintain, update, and publish content within our central platform.
- Create and produce engaging content aligned with company goals.
Campaign and Performance Management
- Campaign Management:
- Manage marketing campaigns, track performance, and report outcomes through Salesforce/Pardot.
- Maintain and monitor performance metrics throughout various campaigns.
- Evaluate results from sales incentive campaigns and coordinate processes with the finance department.
Strategic Alignment and Support
- Strategic Alignment:
- Regularly meet with teams to align strategy with initiatives.
- Assist with creative services and provide organizational support.
Partner and Social Media Engagement
- Partner Support:
- Support partner communications and programs.
- Collect and organize information from partners and company-wide initiatives.
- Social Media Management:
- Manage social media profiles, schedule posts, and monitor engagement.
Logistics and Event Management
- Logistics Management:
- Manage schedules, track inventory, and handle logistics for tradeshows.
- Distribution Management:
- Oversee updates, printing, and distribution of materials and documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within a similar industry
- Salesforce/Pardot or other CRM and marketing automation tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design
- Experience with social media management and content creation
- Ability to travel occasionally for tradeshows and partner meetings
