Job Description Summary

This is a fast-paced role supporting a diverse range of marketing projects for the business-to-business marketing team. She/he is accountable for helping to advance the goals of the OhioHealth Employer Services and the OhioHealthy Medical Plan by implementing tactics contained in marketing plans for targeted products and services that drive two-way engagement between OhioHealth, local employers, health plan members, brokers, consultants, physician practices and staff.

This is a hybrid role with in-person accountabilities for meetings and project management.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (Required)

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field with demonstrated experience in project management.
  • Ideally, we are looking for individuals who have had internships or some work experience.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

  • Candidates need to have marketing, digital marketing, communications, or related field experience with demonstrated experience in project management. Being organized and accountable are important aspects of the project management work on our team. Solid writing, editing and proofreading skills are valued as well as articulate verbal communications and presentation skills. Based on the volume of projects the team routinely manages, candidates will have to manage multiple projects at different stages of development.
  • We work with an online project management system to support the flow of work across marketing, creative services, and our business partners. We’re looking for individuals who take initiative to offer ideas and suggestions proactively to improve the work experience. Ideal candidates are comfortable seeking information needed to solve problems and determine solutions. Of course, we are here to support but we value smart problem-solving mindsets.
  • Marketing at OhioHealth is a dynamic and fast paced environment where we strive to provide creative solutions to our business partner’s challenges. We often have to operate under tight timelines and budgets. Most importantly the Marketing and Communications team enjoys having fun and creating a positive work culture. This position is a hybrid role with several days working remote with the occasional in person meeting, video shoot or other onsite project.

  • Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience and familiarity with social media for marketing, communications, and public relations.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Project Execution: coordinates and communicates with internal team members, content experts, writers, designers, and other team members as appropriate.
  • Projects will include employed physician marketing materials, service line/program marketing materials, updating existing materials, day-to-day project management includes submitting and opening jobs, routing editing, developing content, proofreading, and coordinating approvals.
  • Ensures established budgets and timelines are met.
  • Ensures quality and accuracy of all materials produced.
  • Participates actively in Marketing and Communications team meetings and special projects.
  • Establishes and maintains strong professional relationships with assigned project managers and other business partners as needed.
  • May help coordinate, plan and be present for community engagement initiatives, as appropriate.
