About You

 

You will be responsible for driving qualified traffic to digital channels and websites for mid and lower funnel tactics through owned channels focusing on email and SMS. By optimizing which customer segments, we connect with and how, you will have an important role to support STIHL’s online revenue goals and overall omnichannel revenue. The communications you will be responsible for are an important aspect of the customer journey and support lifting engagement levels across all aspects of interaction with the STIHL brand. Executes a plan on how STIHL drives the right visitors to relevant content, incorporating mid and lower funnel tactics and campaigns in an omnichannel world. Must be able to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and Engage Targeted Audiences: Identify and target audiences using data sources and leverage relationships that are build within the STIHL tech stack and customer data platform (CDP) to target similar audiences. Work with IT to leverage insights and existing data sources to move from 1:all to 1:1 relationships that are personalized for relevancy. Ability to segment customers by type (e.g., professional, consumer segments) and maximize the customer experience across touchpoints and digital channels. Improves the ways we interact with customers by effectively using 1P data and a customer data platform to engage (i.e., cadence, frequency, content).
  • Execute Marketing Automation: Utilize select tech stack for email and SMS to automate customer journeys. This includes mid to lower funnel transactional triggers such as cart abandonment, welcome series, browse abandonment, recommendations based on prior purchases, win-back campaigns, etc.
  • Execute Email and SMS Strategy: Execute strategic email and SMS marketing campaigns aligned with overall marketing objectives. Analyze campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) and optimize campaigns for continuous improvement. Stay updated on email and SMS marketing best practices and trends. Ability to communicate and work well cross-functionally for approvals utilizing brand assets.
  • Digital Marketing Campaign Execution: Research and identify new digital marketing trends and opportunities. Compare competitive positioning of our approach to industry best practices. Work collaboratively with other marketing team members (e.g., content creators, designers) to ensure cohesive lower funnel marketing efforts. Track and analyze overall digital marketing campaign performance and report results to marketing leadership while staying up to date on the latest digital marketing tools and technologies.

Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in the areas of marketing or business-related fields or equivalent combined education and experience.
