Our marketing team is actively seeking a Marketing Specialist that will work as the primary internal marketing team member, interfacing with sales, and the external agency team to help execute marketing plans to our prospects, customers, and partners helping ensure defined business goals and KPI’s are achieved.

The Marketing Specialist brings strong attention to detail and organization to all projects, as they must coordinate and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously in accordance with the annual marketing plan along with ad hoc business requests. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and relationship-builder, skilled in facilitating collaboration across departments, teams and external vendors, that is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and learn the business inside and out. Essential Functions

  • Assist in the development of demand generation campaigns/programs focused on driving B2B pipelines to accelerate the customer journey and increase sales volume.
  • Track success of marketing initiatives to achieve growth goals with a keen focus lead generation, new account and customer acquisition, and market share.
  • Assist in communications to the external agency in the development of key campaign assets and content, including but not limited to, landing pages, microsites, blogs, email communications, social media content, informational collateral.
  • Actively partner with sales to understand business goals and own the process of creating, testing, and deploying e-newsletters through marketing automation system for both internal and external customer communications.
  • Support in overseeing external vendors, including but not limited to, merchandise and print needs along with brand quality control.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of both internal and external existing customer and prospecting events and open houses.
  • Integrate deeply with internal, front line customer sales teams to understand business goals, products and services, voice of customer, customer segmentation and critical performance gaps and opportunities.
  • Actively partner with OEM marketing teams and other divisional dealers to support in the development and enhance marketing plans.
  • Maintain a good understanding of current OEM campaigns and communicate offers with our sales teams.
  • Become a brand advocate by reviewing marketing materials to ensure that it is used consistently across digital platforms, merchandise, and print communications.
  • Conduct marketing analysis to obtain understanding in competitive landscape, research competitors by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising.
  • Support marketing and sales in gathering and analyzing qualitative and quantitative market and customer data, whether collected by the dealership or a third party.

Education And/or Experience

  • 4-year degree in marketing, communications, business administration or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of hands-on and progressive marketing experience.
  • Supported or executed multi-channel campaigns for either current customers or prospects that drove sales growth.
  • Prior knowledge and/or experience in working with Marketing Automation Platforms like Salesforce, Pardot, Hootsuite, Google Analytics/Google Adword is a plus.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite preferred, but not required.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Knowledge of marketing campaign management and KPI performance and measurements
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as have savvy computer skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and have strong project management skills.
  • An almost obsessive attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Able to interpret business needs and opportunities into strategic marketing action and support.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and has a sense of urgency.
