As an owner of the SNKRS experience in North America, your role is to elevate and evolve the Nike brand by overseeing the everyday product storytelling and launch cadence of the sneaker-centric platform. The SNKRS experience, inclusive of both app and web instances, serves as the consumer’s ‘Ultimate Sneaker Source.’ Therefore, your role is to obsess the perennial look and feel of the experience while also overseeing the general function of the platform from product debut and embargo alignment to storytelling accuracy and demand creation, which is tied to geo Brand efforts and seasonal plans holistically.

You will carry out the platform strategy and execute digital marketing programs and campaigns for the Nike Brand and for SNKRS’ evergreen business. You will also collaborate with key business partners across the organization to craft and execute integrated digital marketing programs to amplify demand creation via the platform, drive traffic/sales and to build awareness, member acquisition and retention.

In turn, you will partner with internal and external functional teams to maximize Nike’s digital footprint and to cultivate cross-channel campaigns that privilege SNKRS as the central hub for product launch and storytelling. This role will help to manage agency partnerships and allocated channel resources to continuously evolve SNKRS’ efficiency, elevate Nike’s digital channels and ensure executional excellence, measurement and refinement for the platform, as well as the brand’s digital ecosystem as a whole.

You will be a great partner who is curious and likes to collaborate with large teams and isn’t afraid to throw out an idea during a strategy session.

What You’ll Work On

  • Manage the daily flow of content in SNKRS, from thread drops and storytelling updates to high-heat launch coordination and feed merchandizing
  • Work closely with geo Brand teams to develop seasonal plans that integrate SNKRS both as a launch platform and a demand creation agent (to hero priority product stories and target the sneaker obsessed consumer)
  • Partner with the SNKRS Global and studio teams to create features and elevated launch plans that connect with the evolutionary roadmap for the SNKRS app and its function, while also amplifying the community-building strategy of the app
  • Partner with geo functional teams to help drive the successful execution of marketing strategies and campaigns tied to high-heat launch
  • Maintain agency relationships and drive partner communication related to Brand plan execution when SNKRS is at the center, while also supporting daily content creation needs
  • Drive innovative, industry-leading initiatives and new approaches to connect with consumers via SNKRS
  • Partner with the SNKRS merchant and category counterparts to understand seasonal priorities and develop communication plans to support those priorities
  • Drive alignment with Strategic Planning leads and category Ops to ensure SNKRS’ marketing priorities map to the larger strategic objectives of North America and Nike
  • Ensure SNKRS is integrated into the seasonal planning processes to support key initiatives, product launches and sport moments
  • Assist with the management of budgets for the channels and agency partners
  • Create recaps to share plans, best practices and new strategies with internal stakeholders to help educate partners about SNKRS and grow the platform

What You Bring

  • BA/BS degree
  • 1-3 years or more of work experience in a digital or brand marketing role, including working within a cross-functional or cross-category team
  • Strong understanding of brand marketing, as well as a strong working knowledge of other digital channels including Apps, Email, Affiliates, SEO, Performance Marketing and Social, ideally in an ecommerce setting
  • Use of marketing analytics tools such as Omniture and Tableau preferred, as well as planning tools such as Air Table and Asana
  • A background in mobile apps and/or e-commerce highly preferred
