Job Summary:
Join our team as a Marketing Specialist, Technical Personas for Trane Commercial Americas marketing team. Trane is focused on helping our technical personas decarbonize the built environment through technology and innovations in electrified heating, energy efficient HVAC systems, and energy storage.
This is a critical role to support a strong customer experience for our Contractor and Engineer customers. The role will focus on building brand awareness and preference as well as demand creation for our full line of equipment and controls solutions. As you navigate cross functional teams, you will have the ability to dig into customer needs and use your problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail to create impactful educational and training programs to share with our technical personas. Use your creativity to create strong engagements with our customers through a variety of channels both virtual and in-person.

Where Is The Work
This position is a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite) and would ideally be located at our Davidson, NC location. However, it could also be open to those with the ability to work a hybrid schedule out of our other office locations in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation: aligned with marketing plans you’ll develop compelling content such as customer training, customer stories, presentations, webinars / speaking engagements, articles, digital ads, marketing automation emails, videos, website enhancements and more in collaboration with teams and 3rd party vendors.
- Campaign Execution: review campaign tactics before deployment to ensure all elements such as messaging, photos, abstracts, bios, resource links, URLs, landing pages, and legal reviews are accurate and engaging to the audience. As needed, attend and assist with in-person or hybrid training and events.
- Communication: develop communications on campaign initiatives to share through established channels and present to internal teams in coordination with Marketing Manager.
- Tracking and Measurement: Review marketing initiatives to ensure success metrics have been added in dashboards and provide insights or recommendations for improvements.
- Overall planning and coordination: drafting briefs, summarizing meeting notes, gathering needed information and follow-up with n Presence Management (LPM) platforms Yext & DAC, supporting the growth of new capabilities as well as management of day-to-day updates when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business-related field
- 2 – 5 years of marketing experience
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Wrike, Marketo / marketing automation, Social channels, Chorus/Firstup products, Adobe AEM and Salesforce and Training platforms, is preferred.

Compensation
Base Pay Range: $71,000-$94,000+
