Colliers Engineering & Design

At Colliers Engineering & Design, our purpose is rooted in advancing the built environment to accelerate the success of our communities, clients, and people. We are looking for a Marketing Specialist who shares that passion—and who’s ready to grow their career by supporting dynamic local marketing efforts that reflect the heart of our mission, vision, and values.

As a Marketing Specialist in our Arizona region, you’ll impact the success of the firm by taking ownership of and executing winning pursuits, helping craft compelling stories, and supporting the visibility of our diverse disciplines. This role is designed for someone who brings creativity, organization, and initiative—and who has the ambition to grow into a future leadership position, with the ability to take ownership of projects and begin mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Work together with the proposal team for high-quality RFQ/RFP responses, including writing, editing, and production.
  • Understanding of clients, client’s needs, and market trends.
  • Coordinate with technical staff and firm leadership to develop tailored and strategic messaging for pursuits.
  • Manage pursuit timelines and team roles to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Serve as a go-to resource and mentor for junior marketing staff (as applicable).
  • Assist the Marketing Manager in developing internal processes, best practices, and team training materials.
  • Contribute to high-level marketing planning and strategy sessions.
  • Create and maintain marketing collateral including project sheets, resumes, presentations, brochures, and award submissions.
  • Ensure consistency in branding and voice across all platforms and materials.
  • In collaboration with Marketing Manager, track performance analytics, adjust strategies accordingly, and report to leadership.
  • Help implement strategies for the firm’s digital presence, including social media, website content, email campaigns, and SEO.
  • Support firm presence at conferences, industry events, client meetings, and internal functions.
  • In collaboration with the Business Development and Events teams, manage promotion, collateral, and follow-up efforts for events.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in CRM and marketing databases (e.g., Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint, Cosential).
  • Support firm presence at conferences, industry events, client meetings, and internal functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing or business development role, preferably within the AEC industry.
  • Experience managing projects or mentoring junior staff; prior management experience is a plus.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign required), Microsoft Office, and CRM/database tools.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, WordPress, Google Analytics, Hootsuite) is highly desirable.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
  • A collaborative team player with leadership potential and a desire to grow into a management role.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
