The Digital Marketing Specialist will focus heavily on Kearney’s social media presence, while also supporting various other marketing efforts, such as overseeing a quarterly alumni e-newsletter, drafting content, or building webpages. This is an opportunity to join a small, highly collaborative marketing team and make a big impact. The successful candidate will be ready to take full ownership of their role and be excited by the possibility of growing it.

We are seeking candidates with experience in creating and posting compelling social media content that increases followers and amplifies engagement. This includes copywriting, photography/photo editing, planning, and social media ad placement. The ideal candidate will also bring the broader working knowledge of a marketing generalist.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Manage the firm’s social media channels, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
  • Develop and execute social media content strategies to increase engagement and brand visibility
  • Monitor and analyze competitor and peer social media activities
  • Manage the firm’s quarterly alumni e-newsletter
  • Occasionally attend firm and industry events to gather social media content including pictures
  • When not attending events, coordinate photography with other Kearney team members
  • Oversee the production of video series by outside vendors
  • Organize and archive event photos in SharePoint
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in social media marketing
  • Recommend new strategies and initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years professional marketing, social media, or digital marketing experience including the management of social media platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Knowledge of current social media marketing best practices
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator with the ability to update templates provided by the Graphic Designer
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, as well as coordinate work with others

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with social media management platforms (Hootsuite)
  • Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress)
  • Experience using email marketing platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Marketing, Communications, or related field

The expected salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $90,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
