Nemours is seeking a Marketing Strategist to join our Nemours Children’s Health team in Jacksonville, FL, Orlando, FL, or Wilmington, DE.

The Marketing Strategist, at Nemours Children’s Health, plays a critical role in supporting enterprise-wide strategic objectives by developing and managing comprehensive marketing plans for key services and initiatives. This position ensures alignment with organizational goals and collaborates closely with leadership to support the annual marketing planning process. The Marketing Strategist also facilitates high-level reviews to shape regional and audience-specific strategies. Utilizing market research, industry trends, and enterprise strategies, this role drives cohesive and informed marketing efforts to achieve key business objectives.

Essential Functions

1. Market Research: Perform market research (primary or secondary) to segment the market and establish buyer insights. Identify opportunities, challenges and market dynamics exist for the organization and its individual products

2. Establish a planful, strategic mindset across MarCom and work cross-functionally to establish to framework to support 60% planned work.

3. Coordinate and develop strategic plans for enterprise initiatives that align with enterprise goals and support key service offerings, such as KidsHealth.

4. Collaborate with the content strategy team to ensure consistency in messaging, branding and positioning across all platforms and channels.

5. Facilitate the development and implementation of marketing processes and workflows to optimize efficiency across key processes.

6. Competitive intelligence: Defining the solution alternatives that exist – both direct competitors and those in adjacent regions, the relative strengths and weaknesses of each, and points of differentiation. Influence strategic marketing decisions by staying informed on industry trends, consumer behaviors, and digital marketing innovations, reporting on their potential impact.

7. Support comprehensive market segmentation efforts to effectively position Nemours in the marketplace. Collaborate on creating a topline view of planning efforts across the MarCom team to ensure targeted audience engagement.

8. Provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights to improve marketing performance and outcomes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum three years of experience in strategic marketing, business development, or a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit setting; five plus years preferred.

Familiarity with performing market analysis and applying insights into effective strategies.

Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
