The Marketing Strategist for Creative will play a critical role in driving creativity and marketing excellence. This position will work within the marketing department and also with other teams in the company to develop and nurture their marketing strategies specifically through the lens of creative enhancements and their tactical deployment.

 

They will leverage AI tools along with internal and external partners for creative optimizations and automations, and in some cases do creative and content creation work using the Adobe Creative Suite. Market analysis and campaign evaluation will also be integral to the success of this position. Strategy, innovation, and creativity are high values for this role.


The anticipated base pay range for this position is between $65,000 and $70,000 annually. Individual base pay may vary within that range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, department equity, training, geography, and local wage and hours laws.

Duties & Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy

  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to develop and execute compelling creative strategies, prioritizing those with highest revenue impact
  • Plan and execute the visual elements of creative strategies, often with others on the creative team, in multiple areas of the business
  • Evangelize for AI-driven and automation-based creative and marketing executions

Marketing Analysis

  • Perform market research and creative analysis and make recommendations based on the findings
  • Communicate market trends and industry reports to stakeholders and use the information to inform the creative and marketing strategies

Synthesis

  • Find common threads in the marketing strategies and work to synthesize the efforts for optimal efficiency on the Central Marketing Team
  • Create playbooks to aid in the ability for the teams to scale projects across future needs

Conceptualization

  • Write and assist in the writing of creative and marketing briefs, often using large language models to enhance the process

Creative Execution

  • Assist in the creation of assets ranging from graphics to videos, and other pieces, often using the assistance of AI tools

Evaluation and Reporting

  • Consistently find and report the results of various campaigns, marketing, and creative efforts
  • Leverage the evaluations to make real-time adjustments as needed
  • Compile evaluation data to be used for future task prioritization and decision making

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or other similar fields
  • Proven experience in marketing and/or creative fields with focus on strategic optimization and execution
  • Demonstrated integration of AI tools into workflows and daily work practices
  • Comfortable working with others at a high strategy level, being willing to offer differing opinions without hesitation
  • A robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of multimedia projects and design styles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and articulate creative concepts effectively
  • Strong blend of artistic vision, technical expertise, and exceptional knowledge sharing skills to deliver captivating, innovative, and on-brand multimedia content
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of marketing principles and the ability to align design concepts with marketing objectives.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and email marketing platforms is a plus

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; preferably in graphic design, marketing, or the equivalent education, experience, skills and knowledge needed to perform the tasks and responsibilities of the position.
  • Minimum qualifications: Four years of experience in field or in comparable fields, Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university preferred; computer skills.
