We’re seeking a highly motivated and creative Performance & Retail Marketing Specialist to join our team. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our client’s brand presence, enhancing customer engagement, and ensuring the seamless execution of all marketing initiatives within our client’s retail environment.

This is a hybrid role located in NYC or San Francisco

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns from conception to completion.
  • Manage paid media campaigns, including program management, asset delivery, and performance reporting.
  • Partner closely with our events agency to bring in-store events and workshops to life.
  • Manage program & agency relationships, and oversee performance reporting to ensure successful execution.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote branded merchandise and contribute to sales growth.
  • Oversee and maintain the accuracy and currency of all digital content for retail space.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to align marketing efforts with core business strategies and build strong community relationships.
  • Monitor and optimize performance: Track and analyze program results, making data-driven adjustments to optimize performance and achieve marketing objectives.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience in retail, channel, or in-store marketing.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong program management and organizational skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and strong relationship management with senior stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of product positioning and marketing principles.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and strategic skills.
  • Experience in marketing communications.
  • Knowledge of retail merchandising, in-store advocacy, and brand experience.
  • Familiarity with branding guidelines, agency management, and production processes.
  • Technical affinity towards understanding product functionality and product operations.
  • Ability to dive into product topics quickly and grasp key concepts.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under ambiguity and uncertainty in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

For NY and CA applicants: The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $135,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives.
